Elon University, a top-ranked institution in North Carolina founded in 1889, entrusted me with designing their 2024 Board of Trustees handbook—a 50-page brochure filled with diverse content and layout opportunities.

To capture the university’s sense of historical sophistication, I leaned into a timeless visual style: grainy black-and-white photography, bold serif typography, and the confident use of Elon’s signature red.

Each trustee headshot was individually edited to align with the overall aesthetic, ensuring visual consistency across a wide range of source images. The result was a cohesive, elevated piece that reflects the legacy and bold spirit of Elon.
